| Gabriel Bennett (Beaulieu) is a Saulteux
Indian from the Sandy Bay Reserve in Manitoba. He says he has been drawing
for as long as he can remember, being strongly influenced by a family much
inclined towards art and music.
He works in watercolour, acrylic, oils and with an airbrush. He sculpts as well in wood, stone and bone and has achieved much recognition for his sculpture. He is an autobody person by trade and has won many competitions for his custom paint jobs at various car and truck shows. Most of his works are sold privately but he has had many exhibits across Canada. |
